On December 13, 2016, Lost Bayou Ramblers will release a historic artistic venture: a 12” SINGLE, MUSIC VIDEO, and a limited edition BEER, all born from their latest musical endeavor ALOHA GOLDEN MEADOW and COTE CLAIR.

Release parties will feature a live performance by Lost Bayou Ramblers, a screening of their MUSIC VIDEO for their single ALOHA GOLDEN MEADOW, and the debut ALOHA GOLDEN MEADOW beer on tap and in 22oz bottle.

December 15, 8pm @ Jefferson St. Pub | 500 Jefferson Street, Lafayette, LA

December 16, 10pm @ One Eyed Jacks | 615 Toulouse St, New Orleans, LA

December 18, 2pm @ Bayou Teche Brewing | 1106 Bushville hwy, Araudville LA

Their first studio release since Mammoth Waltz in 2012, Lost Bayou Ramblers are releasing two tracks, ALOHA GOLDEN MEADOW and COTE CLAIR, from their upcoming 2017 LP “Kalenda” on Rice Pump Records, out of Arnaudville, LA. On December 13, the two original songs will be available at local record shops, on, and at live shows.

December 13 will also mark the release of Lost Bayou Ramblers’ first music video, produced by Worklight Pictures out of New Orleans, for the single ALOHA GOLDEN MEADOW. The video recounts the story of the fictitious King of Golden Meadow, a local man who believes that he is descended from Hawaiian royalty. The King clings to the hope of one day being reunited with his island kin even as his kingdom struggles with rising sea-levels along the post-BP Louisiana coast. His dreams come true when a mysterious alien visitor bestows a gift, a moment that would change the king’s life, and his steel guitar playing, forever.

Lost Bayou Ramblers ‘ evolution as a Grammy winning Cajun band continues to excite, challenge, and redefine both genre expectations as well as cultural preconceptions.

The bands’ performance, produced by JACK WHITE, on the 2017 documentary series and record release, AMERICAN EPIC, solidifies Lost Bayou Ramblers’ international reputation as a traditional (while extremely progressive) Cajun band.
